Practical Information
To welcome you under the best possible conditions, we kindly ask you to read the practical information below before your appointment.

Appointments
- Consultations are by appointment only.
- Book an appointment: on the appointments page or by phone.
- Please reserve one time slot per person and register the appointment in the patient's name. Only one appointment per day per person can be booked.
- For urgent problems (e.g. suspected skin cancer), a quick appointment can be arranged upon specific request from your GP via the secretariat.
- If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance via the link in the confirmation email or by phone.
- Please note: for a missed or late-cancelled appointment, a fixed fee of EUR 25 will be charged.
Preparing your consultation
- Bring your electronic identity card (eID), Kids-ID, or ISI+ card.
- A list of your current medication and known allergies.
- Information about treatments (creams or medication) you have already tried for your skin condition.
- Important for nail issues: please remove all nail polish (classic or semi-permanent) or gel nails before the consultation to allow a proper examination.
- Your referral letter if you were referred by another doctor.
- Please mention during the consultation if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Prescriptions and certificates are provided only during the consultation.
Results & Follow-up
Results of analyses or biopsies are generally discussed during a follow-up consultation. If needed, the doctor will contact you personally to communicate the results or plan a new appointment.
Fees & Payment
- Dr. Mathot is accredited and non-conventioned.
- Base fees: EUR 50 (Arsenal Clinic) to EUR 70 (Dermatology & Research Institute).
- The third-party payer scheme is applied: if your health insurance is in order, their contribution is deducted directly. You only pay the remaining amount (EUR 50 or EUR 70).
- A supplement may be charged depending on technical procedures (cryotherapy, sampling, surgery, laser, etc.).
- You do not need to send any certificate to your health insurance fund.
- Laboratory costs are billed directly to you by the lab.
- Payment is preferably made electronically (Bancontact, Payconiq, or banking app).
